Self Catering Holiday Cottages: General / Additional Information

Firstly, a very warm welcome to you from Tony and Elaine. We want you to experience the very best hospitality and comfort possible in our self catering holiday cottages...we live in the adjoining country house and are on hand to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible.

Rating
Both of our cottages have an English Tourist Board 5-star official rating.

Occupancy, Pets & Smoking Restrictions
Both the Oakville Cottage and the Garden Cottage are non-smoking and accommodate up to 2 adults - sorry we do not accept pets and we do not have cots available.

Arrivals and Departures
Our changeover day for guests falls on a Saturday. Please visit our tariff page for current pricing.

Outside & Parking
Both cottages share a garden with patio, BBQ area and pleasant rural outlook. Each cottage has private parking. We also offer a secure store that is useful for keeping bikes, walking equipment etc, it also has a washing machine for your use, if required.

We also have two adorable donkeys (one of which is pictured on our homepage) for you to enjoy and we also have hens to provide beautiful eggs when they are laying well.

Relaxation
Both cottages benefit from a rural location, a gas or electric fire/stove, colour TV, video, DVD and radio/CD player, games, books, dvds and videos. Excellent walking and cycling from your cottage door.

Crown Leisure Club
It is possible for us to arrange for you to have temporary membership to the Crown Hotel Leisure Club in Wetheral whose facilities include swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room, sunbeds and beauty treatments.

What's Included
Welcome tea, coffee, sugar and milk on arrival. All gas, electric, bed linen and towels included. 

Payment
We accept payment by cheques or credit cards. 20% deposit on booking, balance to be paid by 8 weeks prior to arrival.

Short Breaks
We will take short break bookings of a minimum of three nights but only 2 weeks prior to the requested stay, please phone to enquire.
